Hello, I am new to the site. I am advocating and researching on behalf of my adult son with unresponsive to meds UC. Been ina "flare': since 2010. Looking for recommendations or the "stay away from" Docs in the Denver area that are highly skilled at J pouch surgery. Also wondering if those of you recommend going to Mayo or Cleveland Clinic for not just a second opinion, but possibly the procedures? With the distance, does that effect outcomes? Is it worth it. THANK YOU!!
